Ilona and I (Gerhard) do not come from the tourist industry. Very different paths led us to this house (see the story behind it).
Ilona is a Rhineland cheerful nature and very communicative. But her love for the mountains also brought her closer to the silence of nature. She enjoys getting to know new people, especially when they have outgrown the usual mainstream thought patterns. With her heart energy and her improbable feeling for people she builds bridges to people very quickly and gives a good feeling. An astrologer once said about her ... "she finds the words for others". She certainly won't say no to a philosophical evening by the fire. She is also passionate about "questions of being" and more conscious perspectives on them. Many social questions, especially at a great turning point in time, provide her with a large intellectual field of activity.
I (Gerhard) have always had a penchant for sports in addition to my role as an entrepreneur. While this used to be performance-oriented, today the focus is on enjoyment and experiencing nature. Whereas in the past I very often used my brain, today feeling and intuition consciously complement it. This is also evident in their passion for photography as well as art and design. I, too, am interested in questions of being and I am a critical thinker when it comes to the major changes needed in our social systems. I think I have already outgrown many old thought patterns, ... but nevertheless this life still holds a lot of insights and discoveries for me.
