Way of the philosophers

“The path of the philosophers” in the Silberwald on the Gerlitzen is a fairytale path through a dreamlike, natural, mossy forest. We ourselves call it a fairy forest because there is such a positive energy there that one thinks the good “forest fairies” are at home here. You will find there different stations dedicated to individual philosophers and their works. Or you just settle in one place, and try to feel the specialness of that place. We therefore come back to this place again and again … to perceive this incredible tranquility, the gentle mossy forest paths and this great forest and let ourselves be enchanted. If you continue at the stone sculpture with the Yin and Yang sign, you will come to the even quieter part of the Silver Forest and a pledge will lead you to the top of the Gerlitzen. A really worthwhile little round.

To get to the path of the philosophers you drive the toll road about 200 m away on the Gerlitzen to the very top to the parking lot of the “Feuerberg”. The path then turns right at the last bend in the road into the forest ….
